Last updated: April 2025  ·  Comforts Hearing Ltd

Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using our website or booking our services. By accessing our website or making a booking, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

1. About Us

Comforts Hearing Ltd provides private audiology and hearing care services from clinics in London. Our registered address is 65 Seymour Avenue, Morden, London. References to "we", "us", or "our" in these terms refer to Comforts Hearing Ltd.

2. Use of Our Website

Our website is provided for informational purposes and to facilitate online bookings. You agree to use it only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe the rights of others.

You must not:

  • Use the website in any way that is unlawful or fraudulent
  • Transmit any unsolicited or unauthorised advertising material
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems or data
  • Reproduce, duplicate, or resell any part of our website without permission

3. Booking an Appointment

By submitting a booking request through our website, you are making a request for an appointment which is subject to availability and confirmation by our team. A booking is not confirmed until you receive confirmation from us by telephone or email.

When making a booking, you agree to provide accurate and complete information. We reserve the right to cancel a booking if incorrect information is provided.

4. Cancellations and No-Shows

We ask that you give us at least 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel or rearrange your appointment. This allows us to offer your slot to another patient in need of care.

Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice, or failure to attend without notice, may be subject to a cancellation fee. We will inform you of any applicable fees at the time of booking.

Comforts Hearing reserves the right to cancel or rearrange appointments due to unforeseen clinical circumstances. In such cases, we will contact you as soon as possible to offer an alternative appointment.

5. Fees and Payment

Our fees are provided at the time of booking and on our services pages. All fees are quoted in pounds sterling (GBP) and are inclusive of VAT where applicable.

Payment is typically taken at the time of your appointment unless otherwise agreed. We accept the payment methods listed at our clinics. We reserve the right to amend our fees at any time; however, any changes will not affect bookings already confirmed.

Where a deposit is required, this will be clearly communicated at the time of booking.

6. Clinical Services

All clinical services are provided by qualified and registered audiology professionals. Our services are intended to complement, not replace, advice from your GP or other healthcare providers.

We will always act in your best clinical interest and adhere to the standards set by the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and relevant professional bodies.

Results, recommendations, and outcomes from our services are based on your individual circumstances and cannot be guaranteed. We will always provide honest, evidence-based advice.

7. Hearing Aids and Products

Hearing aids and other products supplied by Comforts Hearing are covered by the manufacturer's warranty. The terms and duration of the warranty vary by product and will be communicated at the point of sale.

We offer a trial period for hearing aids as outlined during your consultation. If you are not satisfied during the agreed trial period, please contact us to discuss your options.

We do not accept returns of custom-made or hygienically sensitive products unless they are faulty.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Comforts Hearing Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of our services or website.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

Our total liability to you in respect of any claim arising out of or in connection with our services shall not exceed the fees paid by you for the specific service giving rise to the claim.
